The Objective Existence of the Channels and collaterals
1. The machinery detecting technique under electric excitation
Place a small electrode on the testee’s acupoints (i.e. the Jing Point) of the fingertip or the foot end of the classical channels and collaterals lines, then place a big electrode on the opposite side thigh. If making a very weak electric current through it, the points will feel tingles with numbness. Then, knock on the skin with a small rubber hammer along the classical channels and collaterals lines with a vertical direction. As soon as the little hammer touches the lines through which the Qi circulates, the testee can feel acid, numb and swelling, some can even feel something is going up and down. Every time you meet such highly sensitive points, mark a red spot with a red pen, and link these spots finally, you will find that they just match the classical channels and collaterals line.
2. The resistance detecting technique
Make through a low frequency pulse electric current with a specially made resistance meter, the testee holds an electrode (called a reference electrode), Take a vertical scanning along the classical channels and collaterals lines with another electrode (called an exploring electrode). When the exploring electrode gets the lines, the human body resistance can suddenly drop with the indicator of the microammeter swinging. Mark green spots with a green pen on these low resistance spots, and link these green spots to a line, you will find that they just match the classical channels and collaterals line and the line linked by the red spots.
3. The high vibration sound detecting technique
With a small hammer or a small stethoscope, you can also discover the channels and collaterals. Put the stethoscope on the classical channels and collaterals line, then knock on the skin vertically with the small rubber hammer along the classical channels and collaterals line. As it knocks on the channels and collaterals, you can hear a volume-enlarged, resounding, loud and clear sound through the stethoscope, which is a humming sound as knocking in the cavity place. Mark these spots with a blue pen, you will find that the line linked by these blue spots just match the classical channels and collaterals line and the lines linked by the red spots and the green spots.
The above experiments have not only confirmed the objective existence of the channels and collaterals, but also proved that the descriptions to the channels and collaterals in Chinese ancient times are extremely accurate.
